Community Midwives

The Community Nurse has a wide range of responsibilities and experience in providing general nursing care in the community. The Community Midwife shares responsibility for maternity cases with the doctors, both antenatally and in the first ten days after delivery. Messages can be left with the receptionists for the Community Nurses and the Community Midwives at St Agnes Surgery.

Community Nurses

Mrs Debbie Dalgleish (f)

Debbie takes care of patients with chronic health problems.  She will arrange social care involvement and help patients get the support and information they need.

Health Visitors

The Health Visitor is a registered general nurse and midwife who gives advice on health care, especially for young children, expectant mothers, the handicapped and the elderly.

She is based at Perranporth and can be contacted on 01872 571212. Clinics are also held at St Agnes and Mount Hawke surgeries.
